The above Brainy Quote is a profound statement in as much as it follows what several of my posts were about. The difference is it invites us to notice the moment as it is given to us. It is not a moment that is frozen in time that we can go to whenever we want. The fact is that few things that matter are frozen in time. Things that matter are, more often than not, fleeting. A child is mesmerized by the newness of the world around it. It notices everything, taking all it sees and building an image of what it is like to be alive. The new testament often references that God wants us to be as little children. (Matthew 18:3, Mark 19:14, Luke 18:16 - Luke 10:21, John 13:33, 1 John 3:7) Luke 10:21 is when Jesus thanks His Father for revealing the things he taught to little children. These verses come up often in the daily readings. It is a reminder that we are the children of God and should be as little children so that we can learn to understand Him and be like Him.
Today I am sharing another image from MoonTear. This image is of a princess as are most of the feminine images. This image was fun to do. All of these images were purchased and are copyrighted.

That is it for this week. May the good Lord bless and keep you safe. Remember to always "Love The Details."
yes, as a child of God we are to live and learn of Him daily, in fact, moment by moment.

We truly should live in the moment. As always, your coloring is stunning. xoxo
ReplyDeleteWonderful post Jim, one that we tend to forget way to often! We should be viewing things like children do, the awe, the wonderment, the things the Lord has taught us, etc...Thanks for that reminder, I know I for one, needed it!
ReplyDeleteI just can't get over these images, they are stunning as is your color of them Jim! The detail astounds me, the wispy hair strands, the faint tattoos, the lace of her dress....and you have colored each and everyone of these details beautifully! I love the soft, creaminess of her face. I'm just in awe at what you can do with your Copics. Hugs and Blessings, Brenda
