Albert Einstein is a favorite of mine when it comes to quotes. There is a lot of wisdom in his quotes. This one falls short. He left out God as being infinite. He existed before we existed. He will exist after we no longer exist. He is the Alpha and the Omega. He is present and active among us even though we can't see him or touch him. The Israelites had His presence lead them out of slavery in Egypt to the promised land in the form of columns of smoke and fire. (Exodus 13:21-22) They could even hear His voice when He spoke to them. (Deuteronomy 5:24) They were blessed to see the smoke of His presence when He entered the tabernacle tent. (Exodus 40:34-35) Unfortunately the people were so frightened by the sight and sound of the Lord's presence when He appeared before them and Moses that He only presented Himself to Moses after this. In some ways this was a great loss. As frightening as it was it was also to be in awe of. We do have with us today the Holy Spirit of God to experience the presence of God and Jesus. It is not the same but it is His presence. It can be in a form that sometimes is every bit like the time of moses. In every way it says that God is infinite, timeless and present. There are those that will say that God does not exist but I know He does exist. He is the alpha and the omega, the beginning and the end.
This week I am sharing another of the fifty Moontear images. This is one of the ones that has a tattoo. It is also a multimedia image. From time to time there is no way to ignore the tattoos so they are treated as what they are. I could remove them but I respect the copyright of the creator of the image.
This image has some blotching visible when photographed that is not visible on the original image. This happens from time to time when I photograph this finished image.
The Copics used are:
They are as follows:
The tattoo---Copic Multiliner pen Wine
The tattoo---Copic Multiliner pen Wine
Earrings---Marvy Gold pen
Plant stems---Copic Multiliner Olive.
That will do it for this week. May the good Lord Bless and Keep you safe. Remember to "Alawys Love The Details."
Hi Jim - yes, our awesome God is eternal and worthy of all our worship! Those who discount Him do so at their own peril :(
ReplyDeleteLove your colouring - this is stunning
Blessings
Maxine
Love the color of the tattoo - and I'm not even much of a tattoo type person at all - but this is so pretty! Gorgeous coloring.

Absolutely stunning, as always. Love how you've used the complimentary colors on the tattoo to reflect other elements
ReplyDeleteLove and hugs xoxo
It’s so amazing to think God was so visibly present, and yet they still didn’t trust Him when it came to claiming the promised land. We surely are stuffnecked people, but God is always faithful to His Word, and so do good to us! Beautiful artwork!!
ReplyDeleteYour coloring is amazing, Jim! The skin tones are perfect! I'm not a fan of tattoos, but I like the sepia shade on this. It adds to the charm. Well done!
ReplyDeleteInteresting post Jim, interesting quote as well. How one can not believe in God is beyond my understanding. But hopefully this post will make some people think. It sure is thought provoking!
ReplyDeleteThis image is colored so beautifully. Love this little gal's braids...you do hair so well. You do all these images so well Jim. Just gorgeous! Hugs & blessings, Brenda
