HE
IS
RISEN
Notice the the nails are there but the cross is empty. He is no longer there but now resides in our hearts. The cross is empty and the promise is now fulfilled. We are saved though we are not worthy. He has washed us clean. Blessed is He for now we can Come In The Name Of The LORD.
He welcomes any who truly believe in Him, even though they have not seen Him, and He makes a place in heaven for them.
The cross was made in the 70's and was my creation. The needle craft image above was done in that 70's or 80's by me but I am not sure who the manufacturer was.
Hope everyone who visits this Christian blog and those that have not have been blessed on this Easter day. As always, you have to LOVE THE DETAILS.

Wonderful post! Very nicely done! I have some info to give you in regard to the needlepoint that you did!
ReplyDeleteFab post Jim and the cross and the needle craft image is stunning hugs Sue x
ReplyDeleteWonderful work on the wooden cross and the needlework. The background reminds me of Bargello. I like the metallic threads running through. I used to needlepoint a lot, cross stitched some, too. But, cards took over and I never have time anymore for stitching. Too bad, and hopefully someday I can do more.
ReplyDeleteHope you and Jill have been enjoying this wonderful day. Hope your weather was as good as mine...80-81 and very sunny.
Very nice - and I hope you had a nice Easter too!
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter! Beautiful Artwork!

Jim - you did needlepoint in the 70s? Me too! Wow I can just picture you and Jill sitting the couch crafting together - how lucky you share the love of crafting together as well as your faith. Lucky you two are. Love both these creations. Hugz
